The 41st annual National Sport Collectors Convention is the nation’s largest gathering of collectors, dealers and anybody else interested in collecting trading cards, autographs and other related sports memorabilia. The NPCC is known for having the best autograph guests largest roster of dealers and the biggest selection of cards. It’s the event of the year and is the place to be for any collector, dealer, distributor, manufacturer and everyone else that participate in the collectibles industry.
This year’s event was postponed until December 12-16th, 2020 in Atlantic City, NJ. The announcement came on Tuesday. Due to Covid-19 the organizer’s decided the original dates were no longer appropriate. Officials have said that they will closely monitor the Covid-19 situation and if not deemed safe to hold the event at the end of the year then they would cancel it. The 2021 event in Chicago is planned for July 28-August 1.
I love going to card shows and conventions. But I have never had the pleasure of attending the National. I hope to one day make it there. I doubt that I will attend this years even but maybe I’ll plan on a trip to Chicago next year.
